This Bodyweight GPP (General Physical Preparedness) circuit, devised by the guys at Starks Fitness Gym, will work every muscle in your body and get your aerobic system firing hard.

“The aim of the session is to help build work capacity and practise your basic bodyweight movements,” says Tom Morgan, Calisthenics Head Coach at Starks Fitness.

“The session should be carried out as a continuous circuit either for a maximum number of rounds (we recommend 8-10 rounds) or for time (20 minutes). Try not to hit failure on any of the exercises.”

Which, obviously, is easier said than done. Here's what you need to do:

For 8-10 rounds, or 20 minutes:

A. 5 x chin-ups

B. 10 x reverse lunges (each leg)

C. 5 x Persian press-ups

D. 10 x bodyweight squats
