Watch This Hysterical 95-Year-Old Granny Bust a Move at a Music Festival
Margaret 'Peggy' Dann is 95 years old, but that doesn't mean she's lost her sense of adventure—or her dance moves.
A frequent attendee of the Weyfest Music Festival in Surrey, UK for the past five years, this great-grandmother loves to enjoy the music scene. But this time she enjoyed the music a little differently than before.
In the above clip, Charlotte Teague captures her great-grandmother boogieing to the beats. Though a walking stick rests against a camping chair in the background, it's clear this grandma doesn't need anything to help her balance—she's got great rhythm.
She jiggles her hips and arms back and forth to the tune of the music and shuffles in place as the band rocks on, all with a determined smile on her face. She's clearly having a blast, and her great-granddaughter certainly can't stop giggling at the sight. Granny doesn't stop—until she gets tired, that is, and seeks a bit of a rest at the end of the video.
Teague, her biggest fan, said, "She is everything I inspire [sic] to be! She is truly inspirational." As for the dancing, she said, "It [was] so out of the blue.
